The challenge this week at Penny Black is Circular
I loved making this card and feel a few more coming on!- it is very PINK for me but it is a nice change
Have been in a bit of a Mother's Day frenzy and have rattled up a few simple ones for the occasion and couldn't resist turning my PB card into a Mother's Day card too
Misty was at the vets on thursday to get a lump removed from the side of her face and it has been sent away to be analised- fingers crossed it comes back it was nothing to worry about
She is an absolute danger with her buster collar on and is wrecking everything in sight as she crashes about and has already worked out that if she get her head throught the gap in the cage in the car and the roof and yanks and pulls then the collar pings off!- oh the joys and I have until Thursday to suffer this.
Time is flying by and I can hardly believe we are at challenge 16 and what a great challenge it is
You can rip, tear, ink as much as you like, the more distressed the better and they don't come much more distressed than mine
I used paper by Jenn Wilson and distressed the edges then I used the floral screen and birds & swirls folders and had fun ripping and tearing then inked over it with blue and brown ink
the bird was distressed with crackle paint and ink and I added card candy and an embossed birthday sentiment, the ribbon- I have no idea where it came from but I just love the rafia and flowers that are on it
Looking forward to visiting your blogs and seeing all your distressed projects and remember there are lots of fun and ga,mes this weekend at the CB site- luv bug Weekend!- might even be a little tutorial from moi in there somewhere too!
Remember tomorrow at 11 oclock till noon there is a premier of Funky Daze on Ideal World so either get the kettle on in plenty time or get the recorder set and watch Anice live present her new fab CD and see all the fab DT work- mine too!
The challenge this week is LOVE and for this I maybe used the strange colours of pink and green!! Not really traditional colours but (shrug of shoulders!) that's what seemed to happen tonight
I have no idea where the paper came from- I stumbled upon it amongst my stash, the stamp is Paper Artsy and I used a mixture of pink and green ink to stamp the image, cuttlebug heart, a feather, flower and dream sentiment along with with a little punched border
I hope it fits the challenge as it doesn't say love on the front but does inside it
This is my card for Kazan's sketch this week I used the distressed stripes and tiny bubbles cuttlebug folders, green ribbon and a loan of Sue's Martha Stewart punch and Hot Stuff embellishments This was my second make for this challenge as the first one I did I foolishly used paper from a new download by FunkyHand that has not been released yet so of course I couldn't use it- how silly of me but it could have been worse I could have posted the card! Such a pity cause the paper I picked is gorgeous and you are in for a real treat when it does get released AllisonX

For the sketch I cut a selection of circles out and embossed some using the paisley folder and some with the swiss dots folder.
The flourish is a rub on and I added the circles and punched out flowers with card candy as the centres added a Love & Cherish sentiment and doodles some lines with hearts
I hope you can play along this week and looking forward to seeing your interpretations of the sketch.
Check out all the different things going on on the Cuttlebug site as there is now things to join in with on a Saturday Monday, Wednesday and Friday and lots of fun coming up in the lead up to Valentines.

Update on yesterday's post- Yes I found Misty's vaccination card in the most unlikely place- amongst crafty goodies and I won the blog candy over on Lorraine's blog- a fab Laura Ashley scrapbook which will come in very handy as I am keeping my fingers crossed but think i might have an order for a couple of scrapbooks coming up
Papers are by K & Co, feathers and ribbon from stash, prima flowers and cord also from my stash
Had to keep it simple again this week as have a few orders and a few cards of my own that i have to get done and Misty goes for her booster this week and can i find her vaccination card! NO!!!!
I am currently tearing the house apart to find it and i know I put it in that safe place-- you know- the one you can never find again cause it's soooo safe(just having a coffee break from searching... then it's off searching again)
My name is Allison and I have two adorable dogs Bud a fourteen year old Jack Russell and Misty a six year old German Shepherd and I love doing obedience and agility with them and often compete with them( But Bud is now retired). Dogs never cease to amaze me and I am thankful each day for their love and devotion.
When I am not with my dogs I am playing with bits of paper and glue and I hope that you find something on my blog to inspire you .
