The challenge this week at Allsorts is EMBOSSING
I hope you can see the embossing on my card- its swiss dots on the scalloped circle
I got out my distressed inks and inked up the card and stamped onto it using Tim Holz stamp then did the same with the tattered florals die for the flower- it looks a bit more 3D in real life than the photo shows
What happened to the weather here????supposed to be the hottest day and its windy, cloudy and threatening to rain- good job I planned to spend most of it in the craft room then!
Think I did too much yesterday- housework, bit of painting then tackled the dreaded weedy stretch of garden- bit it was dry as a bone and I couldn't even get the spade in so I sat there in the dirt with a trowel and dug away for about four hours and not even half of it done..... boy am I sore today and had to strap my hand up(suffer tendonitis at the best of times) and don't have the energy to be doing much today.... hope there's some tennis on might just chill and watch that for a while
Have a good Sunday whatever you are up to

Miss Evie Meets Tim Holz

Squigglestamps is having a DT call and you have to make a Birthday Best card
For this I used the new Miss Evie image from Squiggle Stamps and isn't she adorable
I coloured her first and then thought- I don't know if I have papers that match so maybe I better just make my own
So this is how Miss Evie met Tim Holz - I got out the distress inks, pine needles and dusty concord and inked up some paper and some Tim Holz tattered florals and they are the perfect match for how I coloured her
Now off to get on with a Wedding card that I really have to make for tomorrow

Charisma Cardz

Its Thursday again and that means another Charisma challenge
This week the challenge is For The Boys and I used an image from our sponsor this week which is the Digistamp Boutique.
I think it's always harder to make something for the males so can't wait to see what you create for some inspiration

The challenge this week at Craftaliciouos is Monochrome- so I went for the easy option of blacks
The papers and image are from Tinker & Co

Here's some photos of the dogs from the week end- had a good weekend at the competition and this is the dogs enjoying a well earned walk after Misty competed

This next photo is Bud having a snooze in the car after his walk

Having a day off today- supposed to be catching up with stuff but having a bit of a disaster
Bought a coloured trellis thingy for the garden and was trying to hammer in a nail to put it on the fence and not content with battering my thumb with the hammer I had to do it another time- now have a black and blue thumb!- only to discover it was a screw I was trying to hammer in... so no wonder it didn't want to go
Then I decided to give my car a treat and wash it- only to discover the hose didn't quite reach so I had to fill the bucket with water and chuck it on the car- several times! but I also flung it over myself and I was soaking
So I decided that was enough of that and that I better come inside and see what disasters might befall me in the craft room

Have a nice weekend whatever you are up to

The challenge this week ay Pollycrafts is Lets Have a Sing Song
I went for the song SO WHAT by Pink and thought it suited the Beer Monster fabulously as after a good few beers that's most men's attitude anyway- so what- until they sober up!!!Mind you Beer Monster is more cute than drunk men
Off to make a cuppa and eat some giant buttons before going to bed

Allsorts and a new purchase

The Allsorts challenge this week is lace and or buttons so I went for lace- this was a bit of a fluke actually- I was making this card last night and when I saw the challenge today I thought ah, I have the very card that fits that challenge
used distress inks and white dabber, Tim Holz stamps, ribbon from Stampin Up, grunge board wings and red flower from stash
Went shopping today with mother and when I saw this coat I just had to have it- think I will be eating toast on beans for a month to pay for it but I fell in loooove with it
Doesn't show up well in the photo but it is lower at the front than the back and the back has a lovely lace up detail- if it was a piece of card I would describe it as black with a pearalised embossed design with big metal button details
Think cause its black it doesn;t show up well in the photo but it is goorrrgeous- just need to go somewhere nice now to wear it

Enjoy your Saturday evening

Cute Card Thursday and Craftalicious

The Cute Card Thursday challenge this week is anything but a square card so of course i went for an easel card- the edge was cut with Tim Holz die and the papers are from Stampin up.

used my favourite leaf die yet again and little Gorjuss girl

The next card is for the new Craftalicious challenge which is Anything New- so instead of doing a new home or new baby etc I went for a new item i hadn't used yet- my new bird and leaf punch which I have had for a couple of weeks now but not actually used until now- its very .. er brown!

And thank Crunchie its Friday!

The challenge this week at Pollycraft is Ribbon and Bling and for this I used the Tim Holz papers yet again! and Fearne and used bobbly ribbon and some bling
now its not the best photo I've ever taken but I am tired- had a hectic weekend
It was my Agility Club's annual two day show and it was even bigger than usual- up at the crack of dawn and off we set for a busy busy day.
Lots of work to be done at the show and on the Saturday I was scoring in ring 1, had six courses to walk and then run and got home exhausted at half seven just in time for Britain#s got Talent Final and was delighted Spelbound won - they were fabulous
Then we fell into bed and up at the crack of dawn again on Sunday and this time I was ring manager of ring 1 for the day- same amount of courses to walk and run and then of course all the clearing up to do at the end of the day- finally got home at quarter past eight, barely able to walk and again fell into bed early- think it was half nine actually- out like a light and never stirred til 9am this morning
Thankfully I am off today or else I would have been really late for work
The dogs had a ball at the weekend and the weather was good on Saturday but then a heavy downpour and the Sunday was overcast and a bit chilly but much better weather for the dogs
I think I need a massage or something- whole body is aching now and could do with another snooze but at least that's that by with for another year

I thought this might make a nice gift for someone filled with some cards and stamps etc
