It's a recipe challenge this week at Haunted Design House- Macabre Monday
two layers- blue paper and spider web paper
one image- girly face
metal- metal paperclip and little metal round thing
black gems- 5 off, added
ribbon- hard to see but it is attached to the paper clip and is the same colour as the paper
punch- punched love heart
so that's the sum total of my cooking for tonight!
Over at Smudgy Antics the challenge is Full Moon Madness and at The Game the challenge is to make wall hanging and there is a hopscotch of ingredients that you randomly select so mine came out as Seven Brads and 6 Inches of ribbon.
The wolf howling at the moon is from Teri over at Delicious Doodles and the backing papers from the Twilight Cd from Debbi Moore.
Have a great evening- hope it's less disasterous than mine- no tv!!!! think my cable is on the bung so will have to phone them tomorrow and then wait about a week for someone to come out but on the up side just got a bargain on Groupon- Tom Jones tickets for half price- and NO I am not a huge Tom fan but he is playing at Hamilton race course- about three miles from me and I think it will be a good gig and I can sing along to why why why Delilah and sex bomb!
Morning folks, the Delicious Doodles challenge this fortnight is 3-2-1
to use 3 of something, 2 of something and 1 of something
I used 3 papers- which includes the blue papr used for the mount- papers by Funky Hand
and 1 image- Eva the Witch
Pop over and join in the fun cause we will be stopping soon for the summer holidays and you should see the wonderful inspiration from the rest of the DT
Have a great day
Its all about SUMMER this week at the Charisma Challenge
I used this lovely image from The Stamp Fairy and papers from K &; Co and thought it was summery because of the colours ,the flowers and the yummy cherries
pop over and see all the summer creations from the rest of the DT and I hope you can join in this week
Update on Misty- she bent the claw and had to be knocked out to get it removed and is now on antibiotics and painkillers and has a big yellow bandage on but back to the vet tonight so hopefully she will get it off tonight.
Have a lovely Thursday
This week the Macabre Monday challenge is Eerie Elegance so I decided to do a page for my book for the challenge- same as the book covers I used the Twilight CD from Debi Moore.
Will do the back of this page before I punch the holes.
So much for my early night tonight! still have a ton of things to do before I can even consider bed and I suppose the main one would be to get off my computer!
Also entering it for Smudgy Antics
All that Jazz is the challenge at Kenny K's this week and they want to see more than 10 gems, so I went a bit overboard with the gems adding red and clear and black totalling about 20.
Beginning to think I should have stayed in bed today- a dog ran at Misty down the park and what ever she did in trying to get away she has damaged one of her back claws- she has an auto immune disease and they all fell out and have not long came back in and now one of them is all bent and bleeding- phoned the vet for advice and he said if I couldn't remove it to bandage it and take her tomorrow. Needless to say she would not sit for me to remove it so I have bandaged her up and she is feeling all sorry for herself and hobbling about- or maybe it's the fact it's a blue bandage she doesn't like!
Hope you Sunday is going better than mine
I started work on this book the other night and have finished the covers- it reminds me of the old classic Horror movies- I used to love sitting up late to watch them and always felt sorry for the werewolf as it ended up getting shot.
It fits the challenge for the Haunted Design House- Macabre Monday which is to use the colours
Black,Teal, Purple, Lime Green
The front colver is black, the inside back cover purple and the back cover is teal with the green leaves on the black rose.
Also going to enter the front page into the black and white challenge at The Game
I used the Twilight Cd by Debbi Moore.
Now I just have to decide what is going in the book!!
Afternoon all- this card is made using the Forever Friends Black and Gold CD and is for the June Forever Friends challenge which is Happy Bearday.
Wow, three posts in the one weekend for me- I am doing well.. makes a change from my recent one a week!
Just back from a lovely couple of hours at Craft Class and need to hang up my curtains I washed yesterday but as I can see I am busy doing other things apart from hanging them back up... oh well I suppose I better move.......
Made these two cards for the Cute Card Thursday challenge which has a water inspired theme
I used Marina from Teri at Delicious Doodles for my image which is a mermaid so therefore water inspired
Nothing worth watching on tv tonight so wondering whether to tidy up my computer as it must have loads of files needing deleted and so on
oh and a word of warning..... switch you lights OFF before you decide to try and retrieve a bit of the bulb stuck in the light fitting!!! Some silly person in here called Allison got a massive shock earlier when she didn't switch the silly lights off!!!!and to top it all off the light is now not working!!
Happy Saturday everyone, the challenge this week at Moving Along with the Times is anything but square so I made this shaped card for the challenge using Tatty Ted.- NO it's not it's anything but a card- what a wally I am,that's what I get for not reading it all....
Busy Saturday?...... of course.... busy making cards- great way to spend a Saturday. Although I think I've done more farfing about than actually making much, and trying to keep an eye on the weather, it's a bit drizzly just now and I have washing hanging out that I don't want to get soaked. Told Misty to let me know if it started raining and I thought when she came upstairs she was letting me know but it was actually a bee in the porch she was telling me about , so the bee has been safely put back outside with no stings for anyone.
You never know I might be back with another card later
The challenge at Delicious Doodles this fortnight is ALL ABOUT THE FELLAS and with it coming up to Father's Day I decided to make a Father;s Day card using Electric Guitar image and skull and crossbones image from Teri.
TRAVEL is the theme this week at the Charisma Challenge so I created a chipboard tag and used the saying Are we there yet????
Used distress inks and stickles on the base and distress ink for the flower too
We have two fab sponsors again this week
The challenge at Macabre Monday this week is all about the tv series True Blood, so I used the gargoyle image and Love at First Bite image from Teri at Delicious Doodles for my card.
It was raining today so managed to have a crafty afternoon and got quite a lot made. Back to work tomorrow but at least it will be a quick week!
Just spotted a little fox cub making its way through the garden- where is that camera when you need it- think my two regualar foxes Basil and Basilina must have had a little family this year- need to make sure the coast is clear before I let the dogs out !
Have a lovely Wednesday and you never know I might win the lotto tonight so wouldn't have to go to work.... ah.. if only.....
This month's challenge at Get Funky is Polka Dots and Flowers and as usual there is a freebie available from the Funkyhand website
I used papers from the Rainbow Polkadots download to make my box and added some flowers and a butterfly- the box was made using the Bind It All machine
You still have untl the 14th of this month to enter
Hope you are having a lovely Jubilee Holiday weekend and if it's dry I am going to get my grass cut again! but if it's raining- fingers crossed- I will be having a nice little crafty day and some chocolate
