Again a very simple card from me- I am off this week and I honestly don't know where the time has gone to- not got half of what I planned done but I did start my Christmas shopping so that's a bonus

The weather here is wild and I am off out to the dog training but not looking forward to stepping out of the door- I will be soaked before I even get to the car!

Forever Friends and Moving Along With The Times

The Forever Friends challenge this week is Glitter and the MAWTT is a sketch and open theme so this week I combined the two. I don't know where the time is flying by to but there seems to be the next weeks challenge up by the time I get round to considering the previous week!

So I made a point of making time tonight to do this card for these challenges.

It wasn't till I had put the image on that I realised it had a sentiment so I had to leave the text area off from the sketch and I couldn't cross my string as it hid the sentiment!

Penny Black Challenge

18th Birthday Card

was asked to make an 18th birthday card for someone at work and it had to be girly and pink

EEK.. there is only a threee week window in the year that I do pink and girly so I deliberated long and hard and long and long about this one so I am just hoping it's ok and pink and girly enough

Hope your Sunday is going is well- my day is just running away with me- was at agility this morning and was soo chuffed that Misty went on the see saw all on her own- yeeha, major breakthrough, then by the time I got home and had to take Bud a walk, Misty tagged along too! and here we are quarter to three in the afternoon- better get the finger out and get this wedding card done

Penny Black Challenge

The challenge over at Penny Black this week is song titles

so I went about this challenge a bit back to front- instead of picking the song title and then making a card I coloured my PB mouse first then thought what could he hold or look at ... I know .....a star

The next dilema was then to find a suitable song with a star- and I kept thinking Wish Upon a Star and true enough when you look it up it is a song from a Disney Movie by Samantha Mumba

so that's how my card came about.

Am actually supposed to be making a Wedding Card but am waiting for the inspiration to hit me so made this to pass the time until the idea comes to me

Just Magnolia

Penny Black Challenge

The challenge over at Penny Black this week is White on White- everything has to be white except your image- you're allowed to use colour for that

I embossed my card using the snowflake and swiss dots folders and used my PB Christmas dog stamp and added a touch of lilac to his scarf and mounted it on a scalloped circle

Added some lace and a sentiment

The hardest part was actually trying to get a decent photo- its miserable here with rain and very dull and I kept taking either very dark photos of it or ones with a glare- so this is the best of a bad bunch

Get Funky Challenge 4

A big thank you to those who took part last month and I had fun looking at your Halloween creations.

This months challenge was set by the lovely En and she chose Autumn Woodland

I used papers from the Funky Seasons CD and added leaves and flowers and a butterfly

I do hope you can join in the fun and remeber all you have to do to enter is use at least one Funky Hand product on your creation and you could win £20 to spend in the FH shop.

Polka Doodles

This is my card for the Halloween challenge at Polka Doodles and I think I am just making it by the skin of my teeth. I used the candy doodles CD for the banner backing paper.
Now I am in a rush as I must get ready for my spooky night out.
Going to Chatelherault country park for a meal then a spooky night investing if there is any ghostly goings on then back here for a little drinky and watch the end of Most Haunted. I love that programme with all their screaming and scared faces! Its been on for the last six nights and finishes tomorrow night on Halloween- very addictive and great fun... hehe never know that might be me later on
All I need now is my car back in time from the garage- was getting an MOT today- bet he phones when I am in the shower... must fly... see you later.. if I haven't been scared witless and I did say WITLESS!!!

Forever Friends

This is my entry for this weeks Forever Friends Christmas challenge
Actually made it a couple of days ago and this is me just getting round to posting it.
Had a fabby day at the SEC C meeting DT and bloggy buddies and shopping.
It was great meeting the lovely Kath again, Lorraine, Gail, Anne and all the others.
We met for lunch and coffee later too where Gail supplied us all with yummy Halloween cupcakes and it was great to have a natter and a laugh and all that coupled with crafty shopping..... ah that's what I call heaven... bought a few new stamps so look out for them and lots of other bits and pieces including some Tim Holtz grunge paper and so on and so on!!!

My First Daisy and Dandelion Project

This is my first Daisy and Dandelion project and the theme is Halloween.
Now the fabby goody bag we were sent was full of lovely Halloween goodies so it was easy just to let your imagination get going.
I made a Halloween card, a box invite and treat box
Or you could use the card for the invite and either of the boxes for the treats
I tried to keep it quite easy and quick to make so if you had a few to make it wouldn't take forever

Cute Card Thursday and Funky Hand Announcement

Cute Card Thursday challenge this week is Spook Fest so I come to suck your blood!- well not literally but.... Just had to use the cutesy Aubergine image from the Daisy and Dandelion range and the dogs actually have a vampire toy and he says "I come to Suck your Blood" instead of squeaking
It can give you a fright sometimes if you are sitting quietly watching the tv and all you hear is "I come to suck your blood" and don't know whether that's more annoying than the turtle that says " Cowabunga Dude" that gets flung in the air every so often and must be hoarse by the time he's said "Cowabunga Dude" about fifty times!Keep wishing the voices would break but they survive even the washing machine!
