Penny Black Challenge and Polka Doodle

The challenge at Polka Doodle is to use some sort of bug on your card and make it a get well one and use something other than ribbon such as string- so string it is and the little bug was made using circle punches

The challenge this week at Penny Black is SWIRLS and for this I did something a little bit different

I used a PB sentiment courtesy of Sue and stamped swirls round about it, swirls on my base card and swirls on the die cut teddy bear- so you have it a bit of swirl overload!

My First DT project for Charisma Cardz

This week at Charisma Cardz its Carly's challenge and she decided you have to alter something(No cards involved this week)

This is my first week as a DT member and I hope you will join in the fun and support me.

I altered a sweetie tin. I do like sweetie tins cause they are multi purposed.... you get the yummy sweeties then have a storage item when they are all gone and you can alter it.

I used alcohol inks on the tin and decorated the top with a flower with swirls and added a button and a sign saying Secrets.

The papers are by Funky Hand and the tag is K&Co.

I really enjoyed doing this tin and am looking forward to visiting all your blogs to see the amazing things you have altered and don't forget to check out all the other amazing DT altered items.

Penny Black Challenge

The challenge over at Penny Black this week is Red White and Blue in honour of our American cousins and the 4th of July celebrations

I embossed the red card with Argyle CB folder and attached red white and blue ribbon

The little nousey image is thanks to the lovely Sue and attached a little sentiment and some red white and blue flowers

And also apologies at not taking part in the challenges for the last couple of weeks

Now I am not normally a pink and fluffy type of gal but thought I would give it a go anyway

The Pink Elephant

The challenge at the The Pink Elephant this week is to use your favourite colour combo.

Now I actually have a few favourite colour combos but decided to go for the ever reliable black and white combo
