The challenge over at Just Magnolia this week is a colour challenge

Grey Pink and optional Black

I used a grey paper by Tinker & Co. coloured my Tilda with water colours in grey and pink(although it looks more brown in the photo than grey!) used black ribbon, a pink pin and pink Special Day greeting and grey and pink flowers

Two Challenges

This is my card for the challenge at Polka Doodles which is Digi Colouring

I used elements from the Candy Doodles CD- the spotty paper, sentiment and Polly which I coloured with copics

This is my card for the sketch at 2 Sketches 4You this week- the papers by K& Co , the note from Making Memories, a die cut bear, velvet ribbon and a flower- and its pink! I made a pink card

Told you I would be still be up and about at this time cause I slept too much this afternoon- think I have time for another card or two before I try to sleep again

Cute Card Thursday

The challenge this week at Cute Card thursday is BUZZ OFF- a black and yellow combo
I used my Penny Black cat stamp and watercoloured it black and yellow, used my Martha Stewart punch for the decorative border added a sweet sentiment and some black ribbon, jewels and paper clips
Actually fell asleep this afternoon watching QVC- must be the after effects of all that painting, so my crafty afternoon turned into a sleepathon- see you in the early hours then... cause I won't sleep tonight now

Moving Along With The Times

this is the sketch this week at Moving Along with the Times and this is my take on the sketch- the Theme to go with it Strictly Sparkling so I hope my sparkly jewels fit the bill

Bit of a cheeky monkey card really

Been missing the past couple of days as I decided to paint my craft room- nightmare!

Couldn't empty the room as too much stuff so had to move a bit, paint a bit then put stuff back when dry and do the same again and again until it was all done

NEVER going to do it again so it better stay clean and fresh looking

The Pink Elephant

The first card is my take on the sketch over at the Pink Elephant this week- a Halloween card

The second one is based on the sketch but had to put the candy where the sentiment should be and move the sentiment

A friend at work is going to a wedding on Halloween and asked me to make a card- now I did ask.... traditional wedding card, traditional with a slight Halloween twist or full on Halloween... and she replied... full on Halloween please... so full on Halloween she has got then- hehe hope the couple like it!

Off now to make a traditional wedding card for someone else now

There is no reason why it is a boxing card as I don't know anyone who boxes

Polka Doodles

The challenge over at Polka Doodles is to create your own flower

I used a paper doily and scrunched it up in the middle and bound it at the back with rafia which I left hanging and attached a big button to the centre

Hope its ok- maybe not the most creative flower I've ever created but was off today as had a hospital appointment and have been busy tidying and moving furniture again in the craft room and of course creating more of a mess!!!

Forever Friends

The challenge at Forever Friends this week is black white and another colour

The card I used was a lovely cotton acid free 315g card from http://www.photopaperdirect.com/ and it is soo lovely and great quality and I printed the stripey paper from the Milly Gothica range at Tinker & Co

The lovely image is thanks to Emma and i added some ribbon, a heart and pin and some card candy

Charisma Cardz

At Charisma Cardz this week it Leanne's challenge and she chose FLOWER POWER
and for this I decided to do something other than a card so I made a notebook.
Haven't really used my Bind it all for a while and having played last week with it at craft class i decided to use it again( I got into bother for not doing a continuous bind)
I used the Victoria folder and ran the chipboard through the CBug with that then inked it
I used the cuttlebug leaf die, some flowers,bugs and a butterfly to decorate and attached a flower charm as well
I am looking forward to visiting to see the lovely floral creations you make with this challenge

This is the sketch for Moving Along With the Times this week and there is a Christmas theme
and this is my in touch with his feminine side Santa card for the challenge..... it also fits in with the strawberry and mint julep challange

The next card is for Penny Black Saturday challenge and again the colours fit in with the Cute Card Thursday challenge

And the last pink thing is my new fur baby... a little six month old Hamster I've aquired

His name is Barley but I think he will be named Barley Sugar and shortened to Sugar

He's a bit shy at the moment but give him time..... and pink because... he lives in a pink palace!!

Once I've got him out and about will take some half decent photos of him

Went to the beach yesterday as the weather was lovely and here's a couple of photos of the dogs playing ont he sand- and yes Misty carried that huuuge post about for an hour before she gave up with it

I just love those little Popcorn stamps, they are so cute


Having enjoyed the sketch at Spoonful of Sugar i decided to make another card using the sketch- the papers are by K& Co and the stamp- Sugar Nellie

Don't think I've showed these photos of my babies and even if i have I love them so much you can see them again

That's them both in action at an agility competition... I love the way Bud's feet are together

Two cards, Two challenges

This is my card for the lovely sketch over at 2S4Y- again I have missed this challenge for a couple of weeks and just had to make time this week to join in
I thought Tilda looked quite cute sitting on the card board

This is my card for the great sketch at A Spoonful of Sugar- another challenge I've missed for a little while

If you look closely- which I hope you don't.. I made a little boob...I was layering up my image and accidentally snipped the bow off her hair! oops... but then if you don't look closely then you might not notice

Carol's Sketch

This is my card for Carol's sketch which is a fortnightly challenge where Carol does a wonderful sketch each time

Now I kept looking at this sketch and thinking I had made a card with it and this is me finally getting round to actually making it!

In celebration of Carol becoming a Stampin Up demonstrator I thought I would use some Stampin Up products for the card

The little cute dear is by Stampin Up as is the oval and scalloped oval punch that the sentiment(also Stampin Up)is stamped on,

The papers are by Marks Company.

The weather here is terrible- torrential rain- no day at the seaside for me and the dogs then this week by the looks of it.

Had to wear my big snow suit today to take them a walk as it was sooo heavy and I just looked a picture with my big padded suit on walking in the park- hopefully no one saw me

Going for a Chinese for lunch today so looking forward to that

Moving Along With The Times

It actually came up a bland looking in the photo and don't think you quite see the subtle pink dotty card or the sheen of the embossed bear all looks pretty wishy washy to me in the photo!!!

Penny Black Challenge

The challenge this week at Penny Black is Hearts Desire and you can interpret that any way you want

I did an ickle teeny weeny card for this oneand cut the little mouse out and gave him a bunch of hearts to hold.

Hope the weather where you are is better than here, its freezing and a bit wet!

One for Fun

Here's a little card just for fun

I saw a card similar to this in this month's Card Making and Papercraft magazine by Marlene Ashby and I just had to make one- with a couple of slight differences- I just so fell in love with it and how easily it was made

Used the Labels One nesties and some circle and oval punches,a little bat and the papers are by Funky Hand

The green one is from the Paper Blossom download and the purple paper from The Funky One CD and I think the texture on the papers add a nice touch rather just plain card but I am just soooo much in love with this that all my Halloween cards I think will be on this theme- and it wont be long till Halloween(loooove Halloween incase you hadn't noticed!!) must start planning hat spooky thing I am going to do this year

You might be bored looking at this kind of card by the time I've finished and thanks Marlene for the inspiration- wonderful

Think it also fits into the Allsorts challenge this week which is Something for the Boys as its a male themed Halloween card

Charisma Cardz

The challenge this week at Charisma Cardz is Swirls and Curls with the option to use hearts as well

I used a swirly curly stamp to stamp the background and used die cut swirls as well and added a heart gem to the centre of the flowers

I just love that lacy ribbon and must get more

Lillyboo- round 2

Well as promised here is my card for the Lillyboo challenge with the proper recipe
Three flowers, two ribbons and 4 brads on a new home card
Gave me a good excuse to play witht he lovely image again and the second ribbon is such a pale blue and quite small that you can hardly see it in the photo behind the red one
I kept it similar to my last card that did not include the recipe!

Get Funky- Challenge 2

Can you believe how quick last month went and here we are at challenge number 2 for Get Funky
It's Ruth's turn this month to set the challenge and she has chosen Two Little Boys for the simple reason she has two little boys and this month is both their birthdays
So I made a card for each of them and used papers from the V Funky CD
