Penny Black Challenge

This is my card for the Penny Black challenge this week

The papers are K & Co and as the challenge is recycling I recycled this bit of hessian which came with a present and I clung onto it as I knew I could re use it- can't even remember now what the pressie was but the hessian is super

Had all intentions of doing this card yesterday but as I was doing housework I thought... my, this bathroom looks a bit shabby and before I knew it that random little thought had grown arms and legs and there I was paint brush in hand painting away all afternoon, so the bathroom is now a bright springy yellow!It was a random colour as much as a random thought.

Forgot before going to bed to change my clocks even though I had the thought in my head all night and when I woke this morning I thought oh good lots of time to watch telly and drink coffee before getting on with things, only realised when it got to ten o'clock but it was actually eleven, so been chasing my tail ever since

Off to get some DT work done and maybe even another challenge card

Delicious Doodles

This week the challange at Delicious Doodles is FLORAL FANTASY and we are sponsored by our very own Pascale with her wonderful papers
I used the Delicious Doodles Fan and Flower image and printed this onto one of Pascale's papers and created a card with it
then I punched some flowers with another of her papers and layered them onto the flowers that are already on the fan

Haunted Design House- Macabre Monday

The challenge this week at Macabre Monday is Dastardly Divas, so not wanting to use the same image again as Teri I dug this one out and thought it would fit the challenge well
Remnant of paper that was lying in the bundle and a scrap of red ribbon and the card was flung together just in time before hopping off to bed
Am not even going to say that orders are all up to date cause every time I do I get another big list of them and have no time to play... so there... I'm not saying it

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz

ooh, how bright is that!

The challenge at Kenny K's this week is a recipe- 3 papers, two ribbons and one image

The pink and orange dotty papers are from the Rainbow of Polka Dots by Funky Hand and the blue one was just lying there amongst stuff so don't know where it came from.

The two ribbons are the pom pom ribbon and the ribbon for the bow at the top

Hope you all had a lovely weekend and managed to squeeze in some crafty time

Orders are now up to date, whew, so maybe get some time to actually play for a change but it won't be tonight as need to get dinner, a bath and hair washed and then settle down to watch the semi finals of Dancing on Ice

Delicious Doodles

This week challenge at Delicious Doodles is to create something 3D
I used the Steampunk Fairy and created a box- it's very difficult to photograph to try and show you the top but I hope you get the effect from the three photos
I used Tim Holz papers and goodies to finish the box off

Haunted Design House- Macabre Monday

The challenge this week for Macabre Monday is ALAS POOR YORIC and what better image to use than Teri at Delicious Doodles fabby Alas Poor Yoric image
I did a bit of decoupage with the image and made a quick card with it once the pinflair had dried.
Got on with my orders etc great yesterday and got loads done but for some reason today i seem to not be achieving much- not for the want of trying but then stopping to decoupage an image for a challenge is not really getting on is it! Better try and get a move on as its back to work tomorrow

New Funky Hand Download- Rainbow Polka Dots

Over at FunkyHand there is a new release- Rainbow Polka Dots download and they are just
wonderful- we all love polka dots and there is a huge selection of colours from black and white, browns,purples, pink, green ,lemon and more
So far I've only made two cards using the purple and some of the browns but I just know they will be firm favourite of mine cause I just looove dotty papers

Moving Along With The Times

Been Missing In Action for a few days as I've been really busy- had to do housework which ended up taking sooo long cause there were so many fur balls about it took a while to get rid of them all then I had a few orders to do but of course I ended up playing about instead of getting on with them- the result- cards that don't any challenge, don't fit the orders and don't fit any DT work either... but it was fun
Also still trying to complete the scrapbook I've to do for someone for her hubby's 70th Birthday which is quickly looming and again I need to get the finger out and get on with it instead of farfing about
So while I was playing about I decided to do a card for the Moving Along With The times challenge this week which is Anniversaries
I used papers and image from the Evergreen CD by Debbi Moore which came free with a magazine- fabby freebie I think
Anyway enough chatter better go and try finish the layout I'm working on
Oh and meant to update you- the little hamster didn't make it and passed away on Thursday

As you can see from te bottom photos I layered up the butterfly- I don't really think butterflies come in those colours but in my world they do!

Haunted Design House- Macabre Monday

This weeks challenge at Macabre Monday is MY BELOVED MONSTER and because I haven't took part in this challenge for a couple of weeks I decided this week to make two cards for the challenge with a monster monster and a fluffy monster.
The first card has the Gryphon image from Teri at Delicious Doodles and the second card has the peepos image from Erica.
Two quick cards as I am still run off my feet and still caring for the poorly hamster who is still hanging on in there but is poor wee soul.
