Delicious Doodles

this fortnight's Delicious Doodles Challenge is fun this week it called TALES OF THE UNEXPECTED- so we want to see something unusual or a cute card with a horrible saying etc, so long as its not what you would really expect

For my card I used Teri's snakeskin paper along with Allura and Voodoo woman images

The front of the card says I want those new shoes darling...

and then you open it up and there is Voodoo woman saying And you know if I don't get what I want then the doll must come out!

so I do hope that wasn't quite what you were expecting

Get Funky- September- Happy Happy Birthday Fun

The Get Funky challenge this month which is set by the lovely Jenny is Happy Happy Birthday to celebrate the new papercraft CD release of the same name- and not happy with creating one card I did two- one for the boys and one for the girls

Haunted Design House- Macabre Monday

This weeks Macabre Monday challenge is to create a Halloween Scene

Nice to have a break from Christmas and to do a Halloween card- love making those cards- Halloween not Christmas- seems to take me forever to get into the Christmas phase
Better get a move on then, lots to do today before returning to work tomorrow- but I'm trying not to think of that!

Truly Scrumptious

I made this card for the Truly Scrumptious challenge this week which is clean and simple

Stamped the swirls and the sentiment then added a big flower a couple of jewels and that's my clean and simple card done.

Weather here is terrible- heavy rain all day, so now all my chores are done time to get some crafting done cause I'm not venturing back out there again!

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz

The challenge at Kenny K's this week is to use your favourite Kenny K image and I think this one is mine, although it's hard to choose as they are all fabby.

And as you can see I've went a bit acetate mad lately- never mind it will wear off when the lot I have is done!

Stood on Misty this morning going down the stairs and as she yelped out and as I tried to get off her tail I ended up falling down all the stairs, skint and bruised my arm and now my back and neck are all aching so going for a nice hot bath to see if that helps any- not a very good start to the day was it??? but never mind a nice bit of lunch and some retail therapy helped at the time
Oh well better get for the bath then back to some HO HO HO bah humbug crafting... am quickly getting fed up with Christmas and it's still ages away!!!!

Cute Card Thursday

This week Cute Card Thursday has an Anything Goes challenge, so I made this card for the challenge.
The paper and the image is from Teri at Delicious Doodles and I just love that butterfly

So dogs are walked and just having a cuppa while doing this then it's Chrsitmas time again in here for me- I always lack inspiration to get started on Christmas so I am using a Hunkydory Christmas kit to get me started cause it's nice and easy just to mount the toppers on the lovely marching card

Misty is doing good now and no limping at the minute- still waiting on the results though cause they are calcifying the nails !!!

Special Request

Good morning folks and what a miserable wet one it is here in dreary Scotland
This was a special request from Ike to have a better look at the card at the top of my blog so I hope you are not bored seeing it again.
Just away to get on with the housework then I think Michael Buble is making a special appearance in my craft room to sing to me while I make a start on Christmas- I don;t know why but it's one occasion it takes me ages to get into making so I am hoping Mr Buble inspires me- have a lovely weekend

Simon Says Stamp and Show

The challenge at Simon Says this week is all about Steampunk, so I just had to enter this week with the Steampunk paper, corner and Steampunk Fairy from Teri over at Delicious Doodles.
Hope you like her cause I just looove her to bits.
This is another challenge I've not been able to enter for a while so it's good to join in the fun again.
Off to the vets shortly again with Misty to get her dressing changed but hopefully it will be off so she will be able to go walking again- she's a bit miserable cause she can't go anywhere

Haunted Design House- Macabre Monday

This weeks challenge at HDH- Macabre Monday is PMS- Psychotic Miss Silver
I used a lovely silvery swirly acetate for my card and mounted Medusa by Teri at Delicious Doodles on silver card. I coloured her using pro markers and added the sentiment I Will Bite!
So beware that's how I feel this week!!!!!
I must apologise for being such a bad blogger of late and I haven't took part in this challenge for a number of weeks so I decided tonight before I write out my mega to do list that would take time to myself and have a little play and this is the end result.
And of course I am now all mixed up with the days as I had a little day off yesterday and now think today is Monday and that means Friday will be here all the quicker then- have a lovely Tuesday night
