2 Sketches 4 You

This is the sketch over at the fabby 2S4Y this week and this is my take on the sketch

I used distress ink and one of my favourite Timmy boy stamps, corrugated card, string and leaves- rather rustic feel to the card but I do love the brownish tones but think I must think pink a bit more maybe for next year or maybe the next!!!

Hope everyone's Christmas shopping is going well- mine has ground to a halt so I must get a move on

Just Magnolia

The challenge at Just Magnolia this week is Christmas and this is my first go at an easel card and can say I love them and will be making plenty more of them

This week at Charisma its a colour challenge

Red green and white or silver

I used the lovely Gilbert ghost which Chris drew herself and kindly offered out to peeps who visit her - isn't he cute
So I used white, red and green but also silver with the glitter
looking forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge

At Last

At last I am having the chance to do a couple of challenge cards- having a day off today and am amazed at what I am getting through- some Christmas shopping done including the gift bags, dogs walked and brushed, washing on, tidied craft room, made a sympathy card and these two challenges done and its only the back of 2!!!
This one is for Daring CardMakers- a challenge I have not taken part in for a while just due to time but had to make time for this one which is SEPIA- a colour I just adore working with
But this is a nothing!!! its not a card but just a lump of chipboard so you are seeing it before it morphs into something else- it will either end up a calendar or the front cover of a notebook- what do you think it would suit best?
The next card is for Cute Card Thursday which is swirly girly and it comes in handy as I have a niece's birthday at the weekend so it serves a double purpose- away to pop it in the post now






Hope the rest of the day is as fruitful as I still have a ton of things to do including cleaning out the hamster- that will give Misty something to do too, she loves the chase it about in its ball and drool

Forever Friends

Over at Forever Friends this week the challenge is anything but a card so I made a calendar.

The spotty paper is from Now Thats Funky Cd- one of my all time favourite papers and it comes in a selection of colours so all the better!

Am trying to decide what to wear tonight- its the dog agility's Chrsitmas night out- without the dogs! and its quite funny seeing everyone all dressed up and not covered in muddy paw prints

The challenge this week is I'm Dreaming of Summer

so I thought I would get out the Candy Doodles CD and do a cupcake card- looks yummy enough to eat!

This challenge was set by Karen who has sadly had to leave the team and I wish her all the best but that now means we are looking for another DT member so pop over to the challenge blog and find out how you can apply

It is quite difficult to do summer when your head is in Christmas but go on and give it a go and I look forward to visiting to seeing what you come up with

Get Funky Challenge 5

Wow our 5th challenge already and this month its Kath turn and she chose

Deck the Halls- so we want to see lots of Christmas decorations, gift bags etc

So for this challenge I did a hanging XMAS decoration and used alphabets from the various Funky Hand CDs and the new digital images download and papers from Yule Be Funky
