Funky Hand Showcase Blog Hop

Welcome to our New Boys will be Boys release blog hop. Our Design Team at Funky Hand are so excited about this fab new download that we decided to have a good old hop to showcase our makes with it and get you all inspired!!

There are fabulous new papers and a amazing new Digi stamp character,Bot,to meet along the way. Delicious Doodles- Brads or Eyelets

Brads or Eyelets is this weeks challenge at Delicious Doodles
I decided to make an easel card for this challenge and used the adorable  Steampunk Sally image and papers by  Funky Hand and used a brad in the centre of my bow
I should be up to my eyeballs in building my new units for my craft room so this is why I scheduled this post earlier in the week, hope they arrived on time and the room is starting to take shape- will show some photos hopefully once I finish

Delicious Doodles DT Throwndown Entry

This is my make for the team entry for the DT Throwdown at Smeared ink
The challenge set by Delicious Doodles (cause we won the last throwdown) is METAL MANIA

I used a large die to make my card blank then I embossed a square of black card and inked it over with silver ink to create  metal looking effect, I used the wonderful Angel of Death image from Teri, three metal brads, a metal charm attached to the ribbon and metal pins- so a bit of metal overload going on
You don't have long to vote so remember to look at each entry and vote for your favourite team entry- but I just know it will be Delicious Doodles you vote for once you see the other two wonderful entries

Holiday Blues

Came back from my holidays on Saturday and I have the holiday blues- want to be back at Portpatrick
Although the weather was not great for half of the week we still managed to have a fabby time.
The cottage we stayed in was about a mile into the woods with nothing but wildlife about, deer, owls and lots of mad pheasants that kept walking out in front of the car wanting to get knocked down!!!

Managed to start my Christmas shopping while away and of course I picked up a few things for myself- including this cute little drawer set

Have some orders and  DT work to get on with now before my new units from Ikea arrive on Thursday- going to do up my craft room as I am fed up with it looking like a paper explosion everywhere so I am getting big units delivered on Thursday so see you in about a fortnight when I've finished building them all !!
