Cute Card Thursday

The challenge this week is for Sparkle and lots of it.

The snowflake cuttelbug embossed background has been glittered up to add sparkle, the cat has also been glittered and little jewels added to the flowers so me thinks that's quite a bit of sparkle

Penny Black Challenge

The challenge this week is Seasons and i picked winter to get another Christmas card done

I went for a black and white theme and used the cuttelbug snowflake folder and my little Christmas doggie stamp and some lovely black and silver ribbon and a couple of jewels- the photos doesn't really do the embossing justice

Funky Fairys Challenge- Ribbon and Lace

The challenge this week is to add ribbon and lace to your card using a funky fairys product

so I used the papers and added a bit of white lace and black and white dotty ribbon and two blooms and the little sentiment Hi Cutie Pie in the middle of the flowers

Tilda on a budget

The challenge this week is to make a card costing under £1

The snow paper came in a bargain pack and cost roughly 10p a sheet, the jewels would be approx another 10p, the wool about 2p the sentiment about 5p and the embellishment about 5p as this was a bargain pack with loads in it from the pound shop, the card blank was free with a magazine and you could not include you stamp, paint etc

So i reckon the card cost about 32 p

Oh Mr Postman

again you are wonderful you brought me another package today

This time it was from my Funky Hand mate the lovely Carol.

Carol runs a fortnightly challenge on her blog(was a Tuesday but now being changed to a Wednesday) and a winner is picked randomly from the entries and guess what I was that winner!!! woohoo and look at the goodies I won

Thanks Carol- can't wait to play with them

Friday Sketchers and few other bits and pieces

This is the sketch this week


and this is my take on the sketch




I used Funky Fairy paper, an embossed pink bazzil panel, prima flowers, jewels, fibres and of course one of the lovely stamped images I received yesterday from the wonderful Chris which I coloured with water colours



The next card is following the pink theme as well and has a heart emobossed with swiss dots cuttlebug folder and a cuttlebug butterfly and another pink panel embossed with cuttelbug folder


The next one used a cuttlekids die for the dinosaurs adn I added the sentiment Happy Birthday You Old Dinsosaur


The next one is using paper by Funky hand, white gel pen to doodle round the edges a silk covered brad the word LUV a few jewels, some hand made paper and a little tag along with a cuttlebug love heart and then embossed with one the folders








And finally you will be glad to hear, this next card was made with again Funky Hand papers and the lovely bird embossing folder which I then inked over


prima flowers, liquid pearls, ribbon, chipboard birdie covered with crackle paint then inked over , some jewels and the sentiment You're so Tweet

Mr Postman

Mr Postman is such a nice man he brought me two packages today

One was a new die called Boo Bear- so can't wait to play with him!

The other was a wonderful card and goodies for my blog candy runner up win from my lovely Funky Hand team mate Chris

A little set of stamps which i know I will use lots and some beautiful Sarah kay and Tilda stamped images-none of which i have so good bye I'm off to play for a little while and THANK YOU so much Chris I love it

Couple of Quick Christmas Makes

Decided I better sart my Christmas cards but since I said that not really made much but here is a couple of quickies that I did

The first one is using Funky Hand paper with sizzix gingerbread man and woman

The second is using the cuttlebug embossing folder Holly which i managed today to get beautiful paper that really goes with it. I added liquid pearls for the berries and a bit of ribbon

Tilda & Co Challenge

The challenge this week was to create a Chocolate Delight

For this I used Funk Hand dotty paper and Inkandoo stamp that reads All you need in life is a friend who has chocolate- oh how true- a stamped Tilda image and a tray of chocolates yum yum

How did I pick the winner- well what i did was write the numbers on bits of paper and folded them over but not before putting a doggy choccy button in the middle of each of them then I scattered them randomly about the floor and told Bud to help himself to the treats and the first one he went for would be the winner and it was no 21 which was Clare
should really have taken photos of that cause it was quite funny watching him trying to get all the treats
