Over at Kenny K's this week the challenge is Favourite Things and I used lots of my favourite things on this easel card.
My favourite Kenny K image, favourite colours-sage and khaki, favourite flowers, favourite crafty person -Tim Holz- papers and ribbon and card candy cause I just love it

Funky Hand

These are some of the samples that I made from the new Craft the Year Away Cd from Funky Hand which you can find HERE

It is a wonderful CD full of lots of gorgeous papers, word books and a new work area where you can pull papers through and add your digi images and words and there are templates too, so you can see what it will all look like before you print it off- no need to run back through to add sentiments to the papers, you can do it all in one go.

And the amazing thing is it updates your other Papercraft Factory CD's to include the new features

I hope you managed to watch Create and Craft this morning at 10 am where the CD was released because Anice showed you all the wonderful things the CD could do - infact I'm off to play some with it, it's just wonderful

Delicious Doodles

For this I made a chipboard heart and covered it with red paper and inked the edges added a swirl with hearts the word love and a calendar page for february with the 14th highlighted and some big ribbon

Moving Along With The Times

The quickest of posts from me tonight as I am off to bed but wanted to post this challenge card first- ooh three days in a row I've managed a challenge... wonder how long that will last!

And I am being naughty too as this is a sneaky peak at a image not released until Wednesday from Teri over at Delicious Doodles- isn't she wonderful

This is Misty getting ready to relax after her morning at agility training- how I wish I could have just lay down beside her, am always tired after the training and she was very very good today- did the twelve pole weave today and she was going on the see saw no bother, so huge improvement all round then, she just needs an owner that can run round with her without needing oxygen at the end of it

Penny Black Challenge

Feel as if I've hardly had time lately to take part in any challenges so I wanted to do the Penny Black one today.

The plan had been to do this card this afternoon but I have a few orders to do so ended up doing a lot of them first, still have two to do but have no mojo for them just now as I kept on fiddling with others things today instead of getting the cards made- so will have to get the other two done tomorrow if I've got any energy left after agility.

The PB challenge this week is January Sales, so what I bought was the new nestie I used and also first time I've got round to using this cutesy hedgie stamp too
Very quick card from me as I'm off to pop open a bottle of wine open and see what's on the box- probably nothing!

Have some other stuff to do too but its hush hush at the mo but a little hint is that Anice is soon to be releasing a fab new FunkyHand CD which launches at the end of the month on Create and Craft- and all I can say is WOW

Have a great rest of the weekend and I might even be back tomorrow if I don't need hospitalisation after the shock of being back at agility after rather a long break

Get Funky- Going Round in Circles

Welcome to the Funky Fifteenth of the month which means a new Get Funky monthly challenge

It's my turn to host the challenge and for this I chose

Going Round In Circles

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz

Over at Kenny K's the challenge this week is

Love You

and as you can see I went into ribbon overload for this one- just loove that image, so cool

can't take this being back at work, so tired and no time to craft- it's just awful but then I suppose a good sleep will help but you know what it's like first couple of days back after a break you're scared you sleep in so can't sleep at all
Off to get a few bits and pieces finished and a calendar completed that is just slightly over due!

For my card I used the wonderful Alas Poor Yoric image and made a pyramage with it- quite tricky to line up the die cutting as I'm not one for a lot of fiddley patience but got there in the end , the papers are by Anna Griffen

Haunted Design House- Macabre Monday

The Macabre Monday challenge over at Haunted Design House this week is Nightmarish New Year where they want to see about long forgotten New Year resolutions
for my card I used this fab bat image from Teri at Delicious Doodles and thought the sentiment was quite appropriate for the image
Went round the garden centres today with my mum and we had lunch then coffee and cake- oh it will be so bad going back to work next week..... might win the lottery and not need to... but I doubt that one I can't even win a tenner on it never mind the biggie

Simply Create

The challenge at Simply Create this week is embossing and if you look closely enough you will see I embossed the black frame for the sentiment
The papers are from the Black and Gold Forever Friends CD and the card didn't quite turn out like the idea I had in head- would be better not thinking about it before hand cause it never turns out like I think it should if I do
Off now to get ahead with more DT stuff and might just make myslef a hot chocolate as i bought the cream and marshmallows so it would be a shame to have them go to waste!!

Happy New Year

Wishing you all a very Happy new year and I hope 2011 is a good one for you

As you can see I had a busy day yesterday making lots of silhouette cards with images from Teri at Delicious Doodles

The papers are all, except the orange one, from the Forever Friends Black and Gold CD

I have decided to get ahead with cards I am short of and thought these images suited anniversary brilliantly and the grass image is ideal for sympathy or thinking of you

Off now to play with a new image from Teri that will be released on Monday so look out for this one its a stunner
