Are the weeks just flying by or is it just me- its time for another Charisma Cardz challenge and this weeks it is to use a candle or candles on your card- that could be a real candle or an image

Thank Ewe

Over at the Charisma site the DT are set a challenge every couple of months and this time we have a choice
Could have picked a shaped card, a wall hanger, ATC with a theme of thank ewe, paisley ,chocolate etc.... soo guess what I went for...
I made my shaped card form the scalloped Nestie die and added some quickutz sheep, feather and flowers and corrugated card witht he words Thank Ewe
Missed all of craft day on QVC so far as been at work but might be able to see some tonight and hope I catch Tim Holz before I have to go out- terrible night to have a committee meeting!!

I was working yesterday so my weekend was cut short! but look at it in the sense the extra money will give me extra pennies to spend at the SECC craft show
Was going to do some houseworkd but decided changing the bed was enough for the day!! so might get a bit of crafting done now

This is Carols sketch for this fortnight's challenge

And this is my simple take on it

I used the Victoria embossing folder and coloured the Sugar Nellie image with pro markers and doodled some stitching round the edges

off now to watch Corrie Street and clean out the hamster

Friday Sketchers

This is the sketch at Friday Sketchers this week and this is my take on the sketch


The papers are from that place known as haven't got a clue- hidden at the back of my stash and the borders are from the same place..... at least I know the image is from Tinker & Co!! and the sentiment was fom stickers from the pound shop and it does say Happy Easter but cause its shiny there is too much of a glare off it to read
Don't know why but I am in Easter mode today so off to make another couple of Easter cards

Cute Card Thursday

This is my card for the Cute Card thursday Spots and Dots challenge this week

Have just spent two and half hours for a 5 minute hospital appointment... grrrr... oh we are running late says the nurse someone sent out 9 appointments all for the same time - couldn't they have phoned or something once they realised- precious crafty time was ruined sitting in a hot stuffy hospital waiting room for a 5 min appointment- see you in 4 months the consultant said- think i will arrive an hour and a half late for that and see how they like it and just say oooh sorry bout that when I eventually turn up- little rant now over off to make dinner now and hope that I didn't leave mojo at the hospital as I have a few cards I need to get done before Coronation Street tonight

Allsorts

The challenge over at Allsorts this weeks Distressing with Buttons and Bows
Now I don't know what my problem with these challenges seems to be- and I know I am not alone... Kath!... but I wrote the challenge down to avoid confusion and got on with making my distressed card
Went to take its photo and noticed the other part of the challenge, the buttons and bows and would you believe there was not a button or bow to be seen on my card
So off came the jewels on the flowers and buttons were added in place and a tiny bow added to the sentiment
Hurray !!!at last all aspects of the challenge now complete- so I think I am now safe to post this card
The papers are from a Recollections Autumn pad and I have had the die cut bear for ages but just didn't want to use him but it is now time for him to come out of the museum and be seen publically
