Penny Black Challenge

this weeks Penny Black challenge this week is no patterned paper so I decided to have a little play with my calibur and make a framed card- embossed the outer frame and used one of my favvy PB stamp for the image.

Was going to have a crafty day today but it didn't turn out that way- finished painting the bathroom then spent most of the afternoon trying to take off the toilet seat and put on a new one... so easy once you know how- but took a while and ended up destroying the old one completely in the process. At least it's all done now so I can rest for a little while...

Hope your week is going well- back at work for me after my week off and been really tired all week and trying to paint the bathroom as well so needless to say that's not progressing very quickly- need another day added to the week which should be for catching up on all your chores that you never seem to find time for.

Moving Along With The Times

The challenge this week at MAWTT is Shabby Chic or Vintage or a mixture of both and I think my card is a bit of a mixture of the both

This is a lovely new image from Teri at Delicious Doodles which will not be on sale until Wednesday of this week, so that gives you a sneaky peek at the image Steampunk Sally and the steampunk papers are from Funky Hand.

Today is running a way with me but at least I am getting to play a little in between some orders , back to work tomorrow- really looking forward to that!!!

Don't know what the washing machine was doing but it managed to dance right out into the middle of the room and it gave Misty a bit of a fright, me also I must admit I thought it sounded like something crashing into the house but it's safely back in its spot now.

Penny Black Challenge

Hope you are all having a lovely Saturday- I've got the kind of Sunday blues today although it's only Saturday-can't believe how quick the week went and back to work on Monday- wish I was off for another week.

The Penny Black challenge this week spots and stripes so I used this cute little PB image and Funky Hand papers- you always have a good range of spots and matching stripes to choose from.

Hope the rest of the day and tomorrow drags in.... can you tell I want more time off!!

Get Funky

The challenge this month at Get Funky is SPRING CELEBRATIONS as set by our lovely Kathy

For my card I used papers from the adorable new Spring Has Sprung download - available here

The butterfly paper is so pretty and the sentiment nice and cheerful and I teamed them up with a punched butterfly using one of the plain papers from the collection and added some wire.

You still have until the 14th to enter in the challenge but don't forget that you must use at least 1 Funky Hand product on your project in order to qualify for the fab prize on offer. But there is a Funky Freebie backing paper to download from the Funky Hand website http://www.funkyhand.com/ to help you if you enter the challenge.

Haunted Design House- Macabre Monday

Macabre Monday- and no I do know it's Wednesday- but anyway- their challenge this week is to pay homage to the great Alfred Hitchcock

For my card I had to use Teri's( Delicious Doodles) Waiting image for the great film The Birds and I don't know that I would want those three little dudes sitting waiting on me or watching me as my sentiment says and the paper is from the gorgeous Phill Martin.

Having a freat week off work and apart from getting hair cut and taking the dogs a walk I've been crafting for most of it- fab- and look at my lovely pink family addition

been getting plenty try outs today and it's wonderful- need some more BIG dies now but need to save up some pennies for them as going tomorrow to spend the last of them on a crystal sparkly skull to finish off my living room- will post a photo of him tomorrow once he lands safely in here

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz

Happy Easter everyone and woohoo am actually doing a real live post- been ages since I've had time to join in a challenge and not just schedule my posts.

Hope you had a lovely Easter and didn't over indulge with the chocolate- I've been good and only had a tiny bit so far.
Been ages since I've joined in the Kenny K challenge and this week its Diamonds- I added some yellow and some red ones and the papers are from K & Co

Looking forward to a little week off work and hoping to get some crafty time but off to meet my Craft Class buddies tomorrow and hair cut on Wednesday and shopping on Thursday , oh where does the time go to!
