Thursday again and that of course means another Charisma Cardz challenge and this week the theme is

April Showers, May Flowers

I used a big die to make my card base and papers by Jenn Wilson and the fairy image is by one of our sponsors this week Lili of the Valley and I used a sentiment April Showers magically transform into May Flowers

Haunted Design House- Macabre Monday

The challenge this week at Macabre Monday is- Alone in the Dark- to create a dark background

So for this I got out my black ink and brayer and created a background and used the wonderful valentine angel from Teri at Delicious Doodles who happens to be sponsoring the challenge this week.

Hope you are having a lovely Easter bank holiday Monday- I've managed to walk the dogs, cut the grass and make 4 cards so far today but am off out intot he sunshine for a cuppa now.. and maybe some chocolate

OOOh I've went all pink lately- what is going on!!!!

The challenge this week at Kenny K's is Springtime and I obviously must think pink is spring like with splashes of green and lemon and of course flowers are all springy too

Delicious Doodles

The challenge this week at Delicious Doodles is ANYTHING GOES

For my card I used the lovely Peacock Butterfly image by Teri

I painstakingly made this card with love and care- it took me ages

The top flowers I used my own homemade melting pot idea for this and it took ages to melt the clear embossing powder with a heat gun then dunk them in- same with the swirls

I think I will have to out a melting pot on my wish list

The papers are by Tim Holz and the metal thing at the bottom says Dreams incse you can;t make it out

This week the challenge at Kenny K's is Anything Goes

The papers I have used for this card are by Funky Hand and the sentiment is by K & co.

And as you can tell I just love this flower die by Paper Artsy seeng as it has been on every card I've made since I got it

I am putting off making 12 Male cards that I have to do for an order, I have finished my houseowrk, car wahsed and hoovered, grass cut, Bud washed too, challenge card done and now I have to make the male cards.

No getting away with repeating one card either as they are all for the same family and it's a case of two of the cards each time are the same person

Oh well better go and get on......

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz

The challenge at Kenny K this week is SPICE IT UP so this I went for this spicey image and hot chilli spice red with the blue paper which is by Funky Hand- looove this image soo much Lovely sunny hot day here again so just away to hang out the washing and get another one going

It was my niece's wedding reception last night- they are just back from the wedding in Jamaica and the reception was last night- here's a little piccy of me with my nephew's girlfriend just as we were setting off- it was a lovely night and the wedding was gorgeous

Update on Misty- specialist looked at her xrays and decided either she has slipped a disc or the arthritis at base of spine is annoying a disc, so we have to continue with the rest and metacam and see how she goes and if it doesn't improve or it comes back then she will have to go for an MRI scan.

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz

Here we are Sunday again- where does the time go to - not even done my card for last weeks Kenny K challenge and here we are at a new one!!!

The challenge this week is Pretty in Pink so I went with the pretty Tim Holz pink papers for this one and my wobble card must be drunk cause it leans to the right- that's what I get for making a heavy flower but if you tilt your head when you look then it's straight...

Little update on Misty- she went into the vets on Thursday for xrays of her leg

She has mild athritis at the base of the spine- but not enough to make her lame

and also she has mild Hip Dysplasia- but again not enough to make her so lame and actually the right side is worse than the left yet it is the left that she has the problems with

Her xrays are being sent to an orthopeodic surgeon to study to see if he can spot anything else so meantime she is on metacam and short lead exercise with lots of rest

Let me tell you that is a nightmare as she keeps wanting to run and then scowling at me when I say No

Off now to get some more orders up to date before going down to Mums for dinner and

a BIG Happy Mother's Day to all
