Ellephantastic

This months challenge at Ellephantastic is Distressing with a Love theme, so I distressed Roger with inks and round the edges of the papers too and attached a dangling chipboard heart

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far- I have a poorly Hamster who I think might have had a stroke. Currently I am wakening him up to feed him baby food and water with a syringe every couple of hours, so wish me luck with my nursing.

Off to a hen night tonight so I must go and raid the wardrobe to see what I can wear so I probably won;t see you tomorrow as I might just have a sore head!

Delicious Doodles

Happy Friday everyone and welcome to another Delicious Doodles challenge , the challenge this week is

To Make Your Own Buttons and use lots of ink

So i went into ink overload getting out mydistress inks to create all the backgrounds and both images are Delicious Doodles images- cogs corner and resting swallows

the button i made from grungeboard, punched two holes and tied rafia through after inking it

You have to use anything begining with an R on your card

I used red paper and red roses for my card and teamed it up with a bit of green... that's green with a silent G and used a Round sentiment ( get it.. another R.. ) ok I'll stop now before it all gets silly

Allsorts

Right that's it- I think senile dementia must have set in...... the challenge at Allsorts this week is Nature and I printed of some papers fromthe Winter Wonderland My Craft Studio cd and not wanting to cover up the lovely flowers on the first card I glittered them and added some butterflies and a Happy Mother's Day sentiment made from the Craft the Year Away Cd by Funky Hand and put the card to the side then started on the other card... yes it's ideal for the Allsorts challenge it's got flowers and butterflies and fits the challenge, promptly forgetting I had just finished the other card for the challenge... oh dear now I have two cards for the one challenge
Maybe it's time to veg infront of the telly and give up for the night

Over at Kenny K's this week the challenge is Circles- now this card was supposed to be a circular card but I don't know what happened and it ended up like this! a rectangular card with circles on it.

Delicious Doodles

Hurray it's Saturday, and having just forced myself to do some housework now it's time to settle down and get some orders and DT work up to date
As I mentioned in my previous post I needed some Sympathy Cards so here is one I made using the lovely Easter Cross and Roses from Teri at Delicious Doodles
I have no idea where the paper came from but I do like the colour, and I took a little strip of it and pleated it across the card and added the with sympathy sentiment
You will of course see much more of this image as it will be soon be time to get on with making the Easter cards
Hope you are having a lovely Saturday and now my housework is out of the way I'm going to have a lovely afternoon crafting listening to Adele and Eliza Doolittle so if you hear any wailing it might just be me trying to sing along!!

hello peeps, a bit late to be posting but I forgot I was going to show you the new Love Love Love download available from Funky Hand

As you can see from the first card I did a Mother's Day card so it's versatile and not just for Valentine's and I just love love love the colours- the greys, blacks and the reds- wonderful

Finished off with a wobbler- the card , not me!

Have to get my head round making a load of Sympathy cards now as one of the guys at work lost his Mum this morning,so sad- that's why I like to have a little stock of them but they all got used up so must go and get on with them as I know loads from work want a card
