18th Birthday Card

was asked to make an 18th birthday card for someone at work and it had to be girly and pink

EEK.. there is only a threee week window in the year that I do pink and girly so I deliberated long and hard and long and long about this one so I am just hoping it's ok and pink and girly enough

Hope your Sunday is going is well- my day is just running away with me- was at agility this morning and was soo chuffed that Misty went on the see saw all on her own- yeeha, major breakthrough, then by the time I got home and had to take Bud a walk, Misty tagged along too! and here we are quarter to three in the afternoon- better get the finger out and get this wedding card done

Penny Black Challenge

The challenge over at Penny Black this week is song titles

so I went about this challenge a bit back to front- instead of picking the song title and then making a card I coloured my PB mouse first then thought what could he hold or look at ... I know .....a star

The next dilema was then to find a suitable song with a star- and I kept thinking Wish Upon a Star and true enough when you look it up it is a song from a Disney Movie by Samantha Mumba

so that's how my card came about.

Am actually supposed to be making a Wedding Card but am waiting for the inspiration to hit me so made this to pass the time until the idea comes to me

Charisma Cardz

Just Magnolia

The theme this week at Just Magnolia is Monochrome, so I just had to go for shades of brown.

The papers are by Jenn Wilson.

Need to go and make a list , have so much to do I am confusing myself about it so think i will make a cuppa and sit down and write a list then I can tick off what I have done!

Penny Black Challenge

The challenge over at Penny Black this week is White on White- everything has to be white except your image- you're allowed to use colour for that

I embossed my card using the snowflake and swiss dots folders and used my PB Christmas dog stamp and added a touch of lilac to his scarf and mounted it on a scalloped circle

Added some lace and a sentiment

The hardest part was actually trying to get a decent photo- its miserable here with rain and very dull and I kept taking either very dark photos of it or ones with a glare- so this is the best of a bad bunch

Get Funky Challenge 4

A big thank you to those who took part last month and I had fun looking at your Halloween creations.

This months challenge was set by the lovely En and she chose Autumn Woodland

I used papers from the Funky Seasons CD and added leaves and flowers and a butterfly

I do hope you can join in the fun and remeber all you have to do to enter is use at least one Funky Hand product on your creation and you could win £20 to spend in the FH shop.
